Rimmel: Fix and Perfect Primer Review

Hello!
Wanted to do another quick makeup product review.

I have been actually slacking a bit on my makeup products, trust me that drives me crazy, I want to share new and exciting things with all of you, but I keep finding myself not very excited about the products that are out there right now. Until I get my groove back with new exciting makeup, I will be reviewing some great products that I use on a daily basis.

First up is Rimmel's Fix and Perfect Pro Primer 002. I had been using 001 which had a bit of a peachy tint to it but 002 actually impressed me quite a bit. It really helps my foundation stay on and it smoothes and mattifies my skin for my regular foundation routine. It is a white formula and it has a nice clean scent, and has a slight "silicony" smooth texture.

For the cost and the quality of the product, I really think it is a win-win. Coupons are always available and deals at drugstores always pop up. I usually buy mine around $4 without any coupon or special. This primer can be found at local drugstores, Ulta, Target and Walmart.

If you are on the market for something effective and inexpensive, this is a great option to have in any makeup collection.

Which primer is your fave?

xoxo

  1. I've personally never used primer except on my eyelids for formal events to keep my eyeshadow on. Does it really work for blush though? Because I'd totally get this if it would keep me from looking like a total ghost a minute after I apply some color to my cheeks.

  2. Ooh awesome. I've been using Smashbox's, but it's pricey lol

  3. I bought this one specifically because you liked their primers! I have both 001 and 002 and I alternate back and forth. For every day stuff, I use the 001 but for "special occasions" I use the 002. They last quite awhile! These are close to the top of my list but I think CoverFX is still my most favorite primer. I've heard good things about the Hourglass mineral primer too. And the Black Radiance one.
