Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation Review

Hello!

Quick foundation review for you today. Revlon recently released their REVLON Colorstay Whipped Foundation. I have tested this foundation all of the summer and it is pretty awesome. I really enjoyed the previous colorstay foundation that Revlon had and still has available but it was such a dry formula and tended to cake up if not used well.

Their new whipped foundation is such a great improvement on their previous formula. The consistency is like melted ice cream, not so much as mousse-ish.

Pros:
  • Easy to apply
  • Lightweight
  • Blends well
  • Full Coverage can be reached
  • Long Lasting
  • Affordable
Cons:
  • The packaging is not hygenic
  • Hard to decide on shade
Overall I give this foundation two thumbs up. Works well and does what it promises, it stays on and is lightweight. I totally recommend this, I have not stopped using this and helped me get through the hot humid summer days.

Have you tried this foundation? Are you interested in trying it?

xoxo

  1. I've seen this on a co-worker and she always looked so airy wearing it. My concern (as always) is just that I'm probably allergic to it...as I am with most things. But in the meantime, I will live vicariously through your gorgeously matte skin :)

  2. I have not tried it, but I've been hearing great things about the new formula, so I am tempted!

  3. I really love this foundation! It has only now made it's way to Canada, however I made a special trip to the states at the beginning for summer to buy it. I love the way it makes my skin look and it lasts ALL day. I was impressed. The only downside is I think it makes me break out a little- although I just use it to cover up those break outs- cause I love it so much. Thanks for the review.

  5. I've been wanting to try it but I've got so many foundations I can't bring myself to get another one. It's next on my to get list though!

  6. Sounds interesting...I have really oily skin, so that makes me leery of most foundations >.<

  8. It's so hot and humid where I am that I've pretty much had to abandon foundation as pointless (it just melts off my face, which, ew). I'll definitely keep an eye out for this one, though--thanks for the rec, Nory!
