Hope you are all enjoying your Wednesday. As promised on my Sephora Haul video I while back here are the swatches of some of the products in the gigantic Color of the Year Collector's Edition Set. For those of you that may not know what I am talking about, click here, and it will take you to the Sephora site and give you more details. The entire set is $68 and it brings a little bit of everything from the Sephora and Pantone Universe collaboration.
First we have the eye liner. Which of course is in the sheda tangerine tango. It is the liner that twists instead of being sharpened. It has pretty great pigmentation, very smooth and easy to apply didn't have to tug and pull to get the color payoff. I tried it as a lip liner just to see if it would work and it did, but I would prefer to use it as an eye liner.

The lip gloss included on the set is called, Tangerine Tango Luminous. Orange based gloss with orange glitter. A bit grainy but nothing too bad. I wore it on it's on and on top of the lipstick and I must admit I prefer it over the lipstick. It seemed to not adhere properly to the lips leaving some bald spots. In the picture below I am not wearing any lipstick it is just the gloss on its on.

Overall I really do like all of these products. I seemed to be able to wear these items and not feel intimidated. I know a lot of people shy away from colors like this, but it really is a terrific color. All of these can be purchased on their own or in the set. If you would like more details check out Sephora.com. I am glad I purchased this set because I have been able to use every single item and you save a ton buying the set instead of the items on their own.
More swatches of the other things will be up in the near future.

I tend to feel like I look clownish if I wear much color on my lips, so I generally go with nudes :O) But this really is a very pretty color...wish I had a better complexion.
